INDICATIONS: Erythromycin estolate is indicated for the treatment of the following conditions in adults and children.

DOSAGE AND ADMINISTRATION:
Adults: The usual dose is 250 mg every 6 hours. This dose may be increased to 4 grams or more per day, depending on the severity of infection.
Children: Age, weight and severity of infection are important factors in determining the proper dosage. The usual dosing regimen comprises administering 30 to 50 mg / kg daily in divided doses. In more severe infections, this dose may be doubled.
